Her

She wears an N95 mask and two blue masks on top of it.

3 pairs of gloves that are constantly being rotated.

She sanitizes everything she touches to ensure the safety of her family.

She changes her shoes and clothes before going home.

Then she gets up at the butt crack of dawn and does it all over again.

12 hour shifts.

For 7 days straight.

Fe.

With all of this is going on I just wanted to take a moment and thank God for people like my best friend.

She works in healthcare and is exposed daily.

She doesn't complain.

She is a leader.

She's kind.

She's loyal.

She's dedicated.

Above all she is compassionate in everything she does.

The way she loves her children, her family, friends and co-workers constantly blows me away day in and out.

I've known her for 25 years and she's never done a malicious thing to anyone.

I've watched her come out of some of the most insane situations, with her head held high and her faith higher.

She's just a beautiful soul.

I know this isn't a typical blog post. I just wanted to share with you a piece of the person I am blessed to call my bestfriend.

She will speak life into you when you don't have the will power to do it yourself.

She will pray for things to manifest in your life even if hers is spiraling out of control.

She's just a good person.....

Phenomenal person.

We need more people like her in the world. Not only dedicated to performing her role with excellence, but setting the example for her team to follow.

She's what true leadership is made of. 

I pray that God continues to cover, lift, sustain, increase and magnify her.

In a world full of chaos, she's a star.
